Boomer, the Enfield cruelty case survivor who was featured on the cover of May's Downeast Dog, is missing from his new adoptive home in Portland. He was last spotted on Vermont Ave, just off of Franklin Arterial. He is very skittish - anyone spotting Boomer is asked not to approach him, but instead to immediately contact Almost Home Rescue's Laura Feeney at 207-807-2531 or Chris Hanson at 207-318-5860. Thanks for any and all help we can get. Let's bring Boomer home soon!

Boomerang - now known as Marty to his wonderful and very relieved new Dog-Ma - is home again, after 12 days on the run. A happy ending for a very sought-after and much-loved young pup.

Please note that Vermont Ave is actually off Washington Ave, not Franklin Arterial. Since this posting, there have been multiple sightings of Boomerang throughout the Portland area. For a map of the most recent sightings, you can go to Google maps following this link:
